2011-2-23-pigfactoryLos Angeles, CA (February 23, 2011)--Independent publishing and licensing company pigFACTORY Music has named Debra Delshad Banks as its new creative director for TV, film and advertising music.

In her new post, Delshad Banks will be responsible for placing entries from pigFACTORY Music's catalog within TV shows and promos, feature films and trailers, TV commercials and new media projects. She will also advise the pigFACTORY creative team on the synch potential of proposed acquisitions

Regarding her hire, Keatly Haldeman, CEO, pigFACTORY Music, said, "Debra has over 10 years experience and a proven record in placing music in a variety of outlets. Not only does she have the respect from the music supervisor and advertising communities but also from prominent artists and songwriters. Her addition to the team will benefit our entire roster and will attract high-level talent to pigFACTORY."

Prior to joining pigFACTORY, Delshad Banks' most recent position was at Sugaroo, as director, TV, film and advertising music. Previously, she managed the Los Angeles creative and licensing office of S1 Songs America (formerly Dreamworks Music Publishing). She has contributed to the synch and licensing of songs by writers and artists such as Billy Strayhorn, Bob Montgomery, Leon Russell, Rickie Lee Jones, Lifehouse, The Hold Steady, Creed, Sam Hollander, Alex Cantrall, Tim and Bob, and Jason Halbert.
