I have a pair of 1978 Auratones that I will never get rid of!! We ordered a pair of the Avantone powered Mix Cubes for our HDTV Remote Truck to compliment our 5.1 Genelec 8240 system. Fed from our SSL C200 console, I use the Avantones as much, or more, than the Genies. Since I've live with Auratones for over 30 years, they feel as comfortable to me as the 'originals' did. For new mixing engineers that come in the truck to work, the have little problems converting to the sound and feel of the Avantones. They are a GREAT 2ND SYSTEM!!!
