Hi there, ......... "yet, in full disclosure, the users of virtually every other DAW — Apple Logic, MOTU Digital Performer, Steinberg Cubase, etc. — have been able to run their software anywhere without an extra device all along"......... Are you saying that you can use Mbox 2 Micro to run all of those softwares( I'd love to hear that I can run Logic Pro 8 with Digidesign Mbox 2 Micro) Please let me know. Tom tomiden1@netzero.net

Is the Mbox Micro compatible with the Control 24 control surface? If so, that would be enough inputs for me.

This is a great little inexpensive setup for editing and mixing for radio broad. The headphone amp (turned down) serves as a line-out and sounds good. As most audio elements these days come from other sources (such as flash recorders) there's really not much need anymore for preamps in the digital interface. It's compact, mobile, and the USB has proven to be trouble-free, unlike some previous USB PT interfaces.
