Good article Russ. I bet McDSP just wanted to one-up you by improving there latest iteration by supporting 44k sampling as they now say on there web site: "Supports mono and stereo inputs,Includes medium quality (MQ / 22,050 Hz sample rate) and high quality (HQ / 44,100 Hz sample rate) recording modes". This may make them a better choice than your review would indicate.
