Studio Projects CS5 Microphone

I use the cs5 on almost every vocal session and enjoy the 7k dip as well as the 12k depending on the vocalist timbre - I have met their designer and factually , where te mic is made is irrelevant because of the construction guildlines and qc they employ - basically zip code is the only difference - their designer is a fanatic for making sure his creations are tested heavily by industry pros at great facilities in their prototype phases before they ever go to consumer level. If that isn't American , I don't know what is- i went to them wanting to know everything and I never was let down with the results. They even gave me some early versions of the c4 pencils and I told them to put a 20bd pad on it so I could use it on a snare - guess what feature is now standard? So these guys listen , work tirelessly and make a solid product that anyone can desire - sp has a great lineup of mice - lsd2 stereo mic is used all the time too - get 'em and watch the artist smile
