Waves SSL 4000 Collection

There is nothing special about the Waves SSL EQ. It widens the Q when boosting, so if you do that with any other digital EQ in your collection you'll get the same sound not for $2000, not for $1000, not for $500 - but free of charge. That entire article is an embarassment to this website, I thought it was the sound of equipment being reviewed, not the marketing.

uperb plug-ins, are highly recommended, who does audio editing, it is essential adiquirilos, after all, the quality makes the difference.

I've mixed and recorded using every SSL 4k thru 9k for 20 yearss and yes the plugins ARE NOT like any other plugins. They are truly better and the reviewer is correct. If you want that "SSL" sound, this is the way to get it provided you somewhat know what you're doing. Although, I must say, slap the stereo bus comp on your master fader and you get an instant SSL sound.

Get to the point and do the reveiw. It was annoying to read. The plug ins a great.
