Sidney was a true pioneer: one of the first pro audio entrepreneurs who understood the value of crossing over to the broader consumer electronics and automotive markets to grow not only his brands, but also the pro audio industry. He lived an extraordinary, varied, and surely fulfilling life, spanning business, philanthropy, education, service, and media. We are fortunate for the lessons we can learn from his work – and from his life. There are few role models; the audio industry just lost one. May he rest in peace.
