Does Cakewalk have a link to suggested PC configurations so one could build an adequate system? I've been through 2 computers and a Saffire 14 and still no luck running X1 consistantly.

I had stability trouble with Sonar 8.5 using a Tascam US-1641, until I switched the driver to ASIO4ALL. http://www.asio4all.com/ It's a universal driver that was actually way better than Tascam's. You might give it a try.

I have the Cakewalk Producer X1 with all the Expansions and I love it.It's fast and easy to use and it sounds incredible.I'm running it with an HP Elite Quad Core with 4 Gigs of Ram and it never even acts like it's about to slow down.I can have multiple VSTs and Soft Synths running and it just cruises right through.I would definitely suggest at least a 24" Monitor and if you can run a dual monitor setup, then even better.
