This reads about like I would expect - the Pro Tools guy thinks his stuff is the best, while users of other packages understand that the playing field is pretty much level now, except that PT costs way more. Oh, and I also don't think that Fender makes the best basses just because the are the "standard".

I say REAPER!! Really, I like things simple, and Reaper is simple. Very cost effective and the sound quality is great.

"I've yet to see someone even approach the speed possible with Pro Tools when editing on another DAW — maybe it's possible, but I have yet to see it". Obviously has never seen anyone edit on a Fairlight !
