ive been looking at a line array setup for my back yard. We have built a pool house in one corner of the our 40,000 sf yard, mostly square. The pool house has a coverd eve extending 20' out and 30' wide, i invision hanging the speakers there. Fist question, are they JBL's weather proof/resistant to take this permenate location? and 2 am i going down the right road? Our genre of choice is quite wide, classical, Jazz, Blues, Country and Rock. We are looking for a high quality sound that we can crank up from time to time to get the concert effect. Obviously we live in the country. Any comments would be appriciated.

Hello Dan. I have a little company, based in Mauritius, recently entered the 'sound system industry', if i can tag it like this, but with some good technicians who had good experienced in big companies. We're doing quite well and this is encouraging me to invest more in bigger system. We, hardly 6months back, invested in line array system, BIEMA GOLDSANGPRO. Personally, they're not bad, not not good wither. Im not really satisfied with the quality and finest of sound. It's very aggressive and wasted lots of money for repairing each time we went out for a gig. Im planning in investing in the VRX900 series, more precisely, VRX932LAP and VRX918SP. Actually, my budget only allows me to take 12 x VRX932LAP and 8 x VRX918SP. I'm aiming at a system being able to deliver a coverage of, say a football ground of half a football ground. I know, you will be saying that i should have invested in the VERTEK series instead. I would really do, but.. i'll keep this for my next investment. Do you think that the VRX also can be a good choice for outdoor performances as well? and if so, please try gime a hand how i can set the system with 12x932 and 8x918.. i would really like you to guide me for how i can use them as you have already worked with the VRX. than you for your help. p.s i would like you to mail me on oryx_908@hotmail.com
