This review is completely off base. Studio One Artist does not allow the use of VST or DX plugins, and has no support for Rewire. Those two things alone make this thing completely unusable as even a hobbyist DAW. It's all right otherwise, but when you compare it to Reaper for 1/3 the money it's just indefensible to recommend that people buy this stinker. It's a toy for people who aren't making serious music, period.

Oh, and add to that the fact that none of the included plugins (which are fairly nice, I'll admit) are usable in any other DAW, so it's not even worth buying for the extras.
