bought one of these. tryed attaching it to my mic stand and the main bolt connecting the filter snapped off. shoddy build quality. returned and got my money back. editor keys are the way forward on this.

What disastrously bad design. There's just no good reason to build the clunky mount out of solid steel. If you have a typical lightweight mic stand and don't happen to have sandbags around (as proposed above), this thing makes a very precarious top-heavy perch for your nice condenser mic. In fact, my sE Reflexion Filter just toppled over, crushing my foot (not my mic amazingly) and breaking under its own weight. Despite the 10 lbs. of interlocking steel gewgaws that attach the filter to the mic stand, the joints are actually quite fragile, and the rod at the base of the filter simply snapped. Unbelievable. Is this thing built out of pig iron?! To add insult to (literal) injury, a piece of another rod is lodged in the screw-top of my mic's cradle, rendering that useless, too. Avoid bringing things into your studio which break other, more valuable things. Unfortunately unable to comment on the acoustic properties of this piece of shit.

I bought a pop filter vocal booth/ stand from this site called www.editorskeys.com, have been using it constantly since and its actually amazing, I get perfect audio recordings everytime! Saves me money and time going back and forth to studios. Just saw today they have brought out a home version of the same booth for cheaper!!! Definitely give them a go.
