Hi, I would like to purchase this for doing interviews on the festivals and gigs (very loud enviroments). Whatever review I read it seems that this device would perfect for it.. What do you think? Please let me know. Thanks

Yes, good for field interviews and music recording in live situations. The mics can be set to record in a 90 or 120 degree pattern. That means sounds to the rear will be somewhat rejected in a noisy environment. By positioning your interview subject to where the loudest sound sources are to the recorder's rear you can alleviate the interference somewhat. On the other hand, that means you have to make sure whoever is speaking is in that 90-120 field. Takes a tad of thought for mic placement, unlike a typical omni interview mic, but the results will be in line with your goals.
