The 2017 editions of the Pro Light+Sound and Musikmesse conventions, held simultaneously in Frankfurt, Germany, offered visitors a direct line on the latest in pro audio and the MI world. There was tons of gear, hundreds of exhibitors and much more. Everything we saw, we shared on our social media ( and @prosoundnews on Twitter). Here’s some of the more interesting things that caught our eye.

Lots of black and white in the Amphion studio monitor booth, with a gorgeous SessionDesk in the center.
Mackie was demoing its AXIS system, featuring the DC16 control surface.
A look at L-Acoustics' impressive Syva system demonstration at Pro Light+Sound.
At Pro Light+Sound: We're at Ferrofish, checking out the affordable/flexible Pulse 16 AD/DA with Jürgen and Kim Anna.
World's largest dB meter at PL+S' Concert Sound Arena. Great shootout!
Lewitt was showing its new (and affordable) LCT 240 PRO.
