Q: What is your new position, and what does it entail?

A: I am the Director of Sales, North America for Fulcrum Acoustic. I¹ll be working to support our US rep force and our North American distributors.

Q: How has your background prepared you for your new role?

A: I have been a manufacturer’s representative in the southeastern US for the last 17 years. Hopefully what I have learned in that role will apply to the full North American market area.

Q: What new marketing initiatives are we likely to see from the company?

A: The primary initiative will be better field support of our existing sales and project development efforts. Fulcrum is applications driven in everything we do; we have strong internal support for the dealer and consultant community. My role is to take that to the next level with a bit more hands-on in the field, giving our sales network another Fulcrum resource to call upon.

Q: What are your short- and long-term goals?

A: Short term—to connect with as many of our existing and potential dealers as possible, finding out how we can help them be more successful. Long term—to grow business in a healthy way, continuing to develop a larger family of Fulcrum products that solve pro-audio challenges in a creative and practical way.

Q: What is the greatest challenge that you face?

A: The 24-hour day. I would love to be able to squeeze a two-year plan into six months. This is the beginning of a fun ride. The most fulfilling function of my audio career has been new market development. I look forward to meeting many new people in the pro audio sales and design community. We have a broad range of great sounding loudspeakers that everyone should hear.
