imgVentura, CA (February 13, 2014)—The International Music Festival Conference (IMFCON) has named Karen Godgart to the position of Vice President of Strategic Partnerships.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Ms. Godgart brings with her a wealth of experience in the publishing industry, including more than a decade as senior-level Advertising Sales Director at NewBay Media and Pro Sound News.
Most recently, she founded and served as Publishing Director for the pioneering NewBay publication, Music Festival Business. In her new position as VP of Strategic Partnerships, Godgart will be directly involved in business development, and creating new relationships with IMFCON and its sister organization, the International Film Festival Summit (IFFS). She will also serve as Publishing Director for Lineup Magazine, a new, publication dedicated to the converging worlds of music festivals, film festivals, and technology.
