imgNew York, NY (May 13, 2013)—Stalwart Canadian indie act Tegan and Sara are on the road in support of their latest album, Heartthrob. Tackling the duo's mix at every stop is FOH engineer Scottie Baldwin (pictured), who's using a Yamaha CL3 digital audio console with two Rio3224-D racks, provided by Gearforce of Coquitlam, BC, Canada.

“The thought behind where an engineer's hands and eyes will be during a show are most impressive,” Baldwin said, “It’s completely intuitive to live mixing, that allows maximum capability to focus on the most important element of all: the music.”

“The CL Series sounds amazing; a perfect blend of the sonic purity and coloration,” added Baldwin. “I've found the Dante networking to be not only simple to set up, but incredibly reliable as well.  The simple setup of the Dante network gets me where I need to be: into the music.

During the tour, Baldwin has been making use of the console’s Premium Rack,  specifically, the Neve compressors and EQs as well as the multi-band compressors.
