Frankfurt, Germany (April 10, 2017)—JBL VTX A12, a line array solution for mid- to large-size touring applications and high-end fixed installations, was the buzz at Harman’s PL+S 2017 booth.
Reportedly “designed from scratch,” to better serve rental companies, FOH engineers and tour sound production crews, the VTX A12 sprots a number of proprietary technologies.
These include a new JBL transducer, high-frequency waveguide design, patented JBL rigging mechanism and redesigned suspension system. Also of note, the new technology weighs in at a transport-friendly 134 lbs.
Other new features include a new full-face weatherized grill; integrated transport cart and frame; full integration capabilities with JBL system control and prediction software; and more.
