Poland (August 10, 2016)—Founded in 1980, and held annually since 2006, the Jarocin Festival in Poland has become a must-play event for European acts playing heavy, aggressive acts music. This year’s edition included performances by Sweet Noise, The Prodigy, Acid Drinkers, Slayer and Hunter, the last of which was mixed on an Allen & Heath dLive console.

While not as well-known in the U.S., Hunter is a classic Polish heavy metal band, formed in 1985. When it came time to advance the band’s show at Jarocin, FOH engineer, Marcin ‘Marcel’ Płoński, requested a dLive for Hunter’s performance on the main stage.

”I used dLive at a previous gig, and loved it,” he explained. “I am very impressed with dLive’s simple and intuitive interface, and behind the scenes, has extremely advanced processing power putting dLive at the cutting edge of digital technology.”
