Van Poederooyen Takes Off with Audiofly

New York, NY (March 10, 2017)—The Devin Townsend Project is currently steamrolling through Europe on a seven-week tour, and the engine room for that band, drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen, is carrying customized Audiofly IEMs for the duration.

Having put the company’s range of IEMs through the paces at performances and studio sessions, Van Poederooyen recently became an official endorser, noting, “I’ve been using Audiofly products for the past four years and have been impressed by the quality of their products and how innovative they are as a company.

With that in mind, he’s also becoming involved in the development of the brand’s IEMs, too, trialing his Audiofly customized IEMs on his European tour for the next seven weeks to ensure that they meet and fulfill the needs of performing musicians.

“I’m ecstatic to be involved with Audiofly’s ongoing In-Ear Monitor development,” he noted. “Audiofly shares the same vision as I do; in terms of quality, design and comfort that will stand up in rehearsal, the studio and the rigorous road of touring.”

Having backed Devin Townsend since 2002 with the current Devin Townsend Project and the previous Devin Townsend Band, Van Poederooyen is also the drummer for his metal band, Terror Syndrome, and side rock band, Ten Ways. In addition, he has performed as a studio and session drummer for various label and independent acts around the world, as well as for major producers including Brian Howes (Nickelback, Hinder, Puddle of Mud, Daughtry), Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Rhys Fulber (Fear Factory, The Tea Party, Josh Groban) and others.
