imgHollywood, CA (March 29, 2013)-To mark its silver anniversary, EastWest has released Hollywood Strings Silver and Hollywood Brass Silver as downloads.

Recorded with a live orchestra at the EastWest Studio 1, the same studio where many Hollywood soundtracks and television themes were produced, Hollywood Strings is a collection of virtual sounds made by co-producers Doug Rogers, Nick Phoenix, Thomas Bergersen and Emmy Award-winning sound engineer Shawn Murphy.

Silver editions include one mic position, with limited instruments and articulations and 16-bit samples. Gold editions include one mic position, all other instruments and articulations except bow change legato and divisi, and 16-bit samples. Diamond editions include all five mic positions, includes bow change legato and divisi exclusively, and 24-bit samples. Customers can upgrade to the Gold or Diamond editions for the difference in cost and a small upgrade fee.
