imgWoodville, WA (September 30, 2013)—Two new versions of the Mackie DL1608 and DL806 Digital Live Sound Mixers featuring the Apple Lightning connector are now available. Also, version 2.0 of Master Fader, the primary control app for the DL Series Digital Live Sound Mixers, will be available soon, according to the company.

The new DL Series mixers enable direct docking of the iPad and iPad mini, allowing users to not only charge the mixers, but also have access to 2-channel recording straight to the iPad or playback from the iPad app to the mixer.

Each DL Mixer has 24-bit Cirrus Logic AD/DA converters, and allow users to mix from anywhere in the venue through the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. DL mixers also support 10 wireless devices, so musicians can control their own monitor mixes on stage.

Master Fader v2.0 will include input channel and aux send linking, along with the addition of mute groups and view groups. Major workflow updates like channel/aux linking and access to mute/view groups also apply to a new version of Mackie’s My Fader control app (also coming soon), built specifically for iPhone and iPod touch.
