Durham, NC (May 18, 2017)—Moog Music has announced availability of its SUBSEQUENT 37 CV—a limited-edition redesign of the Sub 37 Tribute Edition analog synthesizer—with a unique approach. Limited to 2000 pieces worldwide, the first 125 units are currently being built, live on-site, at Moogfest 2017. Moogfest began yesterday and continues through Sunday, May 21 in the Research Triangle city of Durham, North Carolina.
The SUBSEQUENT 37 CV is bookended via two solid aluminum sidepieces inset with North American hardwood and fixed to a steel/aluminum enclosure. It features four assignable CV outputs; two assignable Gate outputs (for interconnectivity with large-format and Eurorack modular systems); an upgraded key-bed; headphone amplifier; and a modified analog signal path.
Operational features of the SUBSEQUENT 37 CV include Mono or Duo modes; a 37-note velocity sensitive keyboard with aftertouch; dual modulation busses with assignable source and destinations; DAHDSR (Delay, Attack, Hold, Decay, Sustain, Release) looping envelopes with sync; 256 presets (16 banks of 16 patches); sync-able arpeggiator and step sequencer; Classic Moog Ladder Filter with resonance, Multidrive, and selectable filter slopes; among others.
Each SUBSEQUENT 37 CV is handcrafted by Moog’s employee/owners. The first 125 units are now available for purchase exclusively through Guitar Center during Moogfest 2017.
