Costa Mesa, CA (January 10, 2017)—QSC is adding two new models to its E Series loudspeaker line: the E218SW dual 18-inch subwoofer and E215 dual 15-inch full-range cabinet.

The E218SW subwoofer features two 18-inch die-cast frame woofers with 4-inch voice coils. Power handling of the subwoofer is 1800 W continuous (6400 W peak), delivering a reported 132 dB Max SPL and LF extension down to 32 Hz @ -10 dB.  The subs sport handles and a captive-skid system conducive to groundstacking.

The E215 full-range loudspeaker features dual 15-inch LF drivers (3.5-inch voice coil) and utilizes a frequency-shading topology with the intention of minimizing vertical lobing through the HF crossover transition. A large-format 1.4-inch (2.8-inch voice coil) device provides high frequency reproduction. The box provides 1200 W continuous (4800 W peak) power handling, QSC’s Directivity Matched Transition (DMT) across the 75-degree coverage area, and LF extension down to 40 Hz.

Both cabinets offer plywood construction with black, texture-coated paint and metal handles. An optional eyebolt kit for the E215 will be available, while an optional caster kit for the E218SW will also be available.

The E218SW will have an estimated US street price of $1,199 while the E215 estimated US street price is expected to be $999. Both models will ship in the Spring of 2017.
