Los Angeles, CA (April 21, 2017)—Slate Media Technology has announced Raven 3.3 Gestures, the company’s next evolutionary stage of control software for its Raven Series multi-touch audio production consoles. Gestures allows comprehensive manipulation of the user’s DAW of choice via multi-touch gestures—such as opening, closing and adjusting plug-ins, muting and unmuting tracks, zooming, and more.

Key gestures in Gestures include Pinch to Zoom, a two-finger pinch; Open/Close Plug-ins, a five-finger pinch; Activate/Deactivate Clips and Bypass/Enable Plug-ins, a three-finger tap; Trim/Mute Clips, a rotate left/right hand gesture; among others.

Meanwhile, Raven 3.3 software also offers support for Windows-based Cubase and Nuendo users, allowing a broader group of audio content creators to adopt the Raven’s touch-based production workflow. To date, Raven supports the following DAWs: Avid Pro Tools 10, 11 and 12 (OS X and Windows 8-10), Apple Logic Pro X, Ableton Live 9, Steinberg Cubase 8 & 9 (OS X and Windows 8-10) Steinbeg Nuendo 7 (OS X and Windows 8-10), PreSonus Studio One 3, and MOTU Digital Performer 8 and 9.

The MTi2 is a 27-inch LED backlit 10-point multi-touch display with HD 1920x1080 resolution offering simple connectivity via standard HDMI cable and USB 2.0. An iLok2 is required.
