Oradea, Romania (May 5, 2014)—Studio furniture developer and manufacturer Zaor has announced the new Modular system studio furniture concept, based around its Miza Z media production desk.
Characterized by heavy-duty ‘Z’-shaped supports, the MIZA Z itself is available in black/cherry, grey/oak, or grey/wengé (dark grey) color combinations, and features a 1836 x 850mm surface with solid-wood front edge, and a matching cable tray on its rear underside. Topside, there is room for a DAW controller and computer monitor. From the front, a large, pullout tray can accommodate peripherals.
The Miza Griprack (shown here) is available as a Miza Z colour-matching 2U- or 4U-sized rack space with a padded top section onto which a speaker or computer monitor can be positioned. As implied by name, users can slide it along the rear of the Miza Z desktop then tighten it at the desired position. Up to three can be lined up in a row to provide up to 12U of rack space. Simple.
There is also a solution for positioning active nearfield monitors on the Miza Z desktop as part of the Modular system studio furniture concept: the Miza D-Stand. For larger studio monitors, position them further away with the Miza Z color-matching MIza Stand MKII.
