Barcelona’s annual Primavera Festival is one of the country’s largest, boasting over 100,000 attendees for the event. This year, longtime Primavera audio provider Twin Cam Audio specified L-Acoustics for five of the festival's seven stages. Twin Cam's technical director, Juan Cid, worked hand-in-hand with L-Acoustics touring application engineer Frédéric Bailly to jointly design all five stages.  MORE

Pink Noise Takes On Festival Cubano

The annual Festival Cubano, held in Chicago from August 15 to 17, tapped the services of Chicago’s Pink Noise to provide the sound reinforcement. This year’s lineup for Festival Cubano included Frankie Ruiz, Eddie Santiago, Falardo Jr., El Gran Combo and the African-Cuban funk band Palo. The concerts drew crowds of over 25,000.  MORE


Avid Everywhere Supports Gent Jazz Fest

Avid was chosen as an exclusive partner of the 2014 Gent Jazz Festival’s Garden Stage live sound workflow—a move which the manufacturer says highlighted its Avid Everywhere concept based on the Avid MediaCentral Platform. Jazz artists including Michael Kiwanuka, Melanie De Biasio and Gabriel Rios used Avid S3L live sound systems to deliver live performances at the festival.
