Touring to mark the thirtieth anniversary of his album Reckless, rocker Bryan Adams is working once again with Canadian production company Gearforce, headed by Adams’ long-time monitor engineer Rob Nevalainen. Also in tow is the company’s d&b audiotechnik V-Series line array system, marking its second time out on the road with Adams, albeit the first time with a full band.  MORE

Diablo Digital Records Fleetwood Mac Tour

Clair Global, the longtime sound reinforcement provider for Fleetwood Mac has been recording the band’s current "On With the Show" tour on a custom sound mixing and recording solution created by Diablo Digital. The system uses Sonnet Technologies’ Echo Express III-R Thunderbolt 2-to-PCI Express (PCIe) card expansion chassis and RackMac mini 1U enclosure for Apple Mac mini to drive an Avid Pro Tools recording workflow.  MORE

Radiohead’S Selway Hits Coachella

Best known as the drummer in Radiohead, Philip Selway hit the stage during weekend 2 of the annual Coachella festival to perform solo material. Belting vocals and playing keyboards, Selway performed for nearly an hour, the show but one on his current solo tour. The Coachella gig, much as the rest of the tour, was mixed by audio engineer Gavin McComb on an Allen & Heath’s iLive-T112 console. McComb controls the FOH mix, while the band controls its own monitor mixes using the ME system.  MORE

Martin Audio Keeps Prodigy On Track

Nineties electro-rockers The Prodigy are still going strong overseas, and recently played a show inside Berlin’s 12,000-capacity Velodrom, an indoor bike-racing track. Helping keep the sound up-to-speed was sound provider Complete Audio Berlin, which fielded its Martin Audio MLA system. Mixing at front of house was the band’s longtime sound engineer, Jon Burton.  MORE
