Apogee Debuts MiC Plus USB Microphone

New York, NY (November 17, 2017)—Apogee’s new MiC Plus updates the original MiC with a new design that includes built-in headphone output for latency-free monitoring while recording, and reportedly increased dynamic range.

The mic sports a professional cardioid condenser microphone capsule; PureDIGITAL connection that go up to 24-bit / 96 kHz; mic preamp gain of 46 dB; and the new headphone output with Blend feature for zero latency monitoring.

Offering a cardioid polar pattern, the MiC also sports input gain adjustment and muting, and has three multicolor LEDs to denote status, input level and use of Blend mode.

Compatible with iPad, iPhone, Mac and Windows 10 PCs the MiC comes with Lightning, USB (Type-C) and USB (Type-A) cables; desktop tripod stand; mic stand adaptor and manual. It is currently available ($249 US).
