2011 MPSE Golden Reel Winners Named

Los Angeles, CA (February 22, 2011)--The annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards ceremony took place Sunday, February 20, highlighting the best work in motion picture sound in the past year.

Los Angeles, CA (February 22, 2011)--The annual MPSE Golden Reel Awards ceremony took place Sunday, February 20, highlighting the best work in motion picture sound in the past year.

The event, held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, also acknowledging the achievements of Walter Murch and Brian Grazer; The 2011 MPSE Filmmaker Recipient was Academy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer, while the 2011 MPSE Career Achievement Recipient was the sound designer and editor Walter Murch, whose award was presented by veteran filmmaker George Lucas.
