West Los Angeles, CA (February 28, 2005)–5.1 Production Services, a division of 5.1 Entertainment Group, an award-winning company offering state of the art production services to the music and entertainment industries, has promoted Sandi Taylor to the newly created position of vice president, production. Bob Michaels, president, 5.1 Production Services, made the announcement.
In her new post, Taylor will spearhead the company’s on-going move into the production of original music content, while also continuing to be responsible for the company’s sales and marketing efforts. In addition, she will take on more of its business operations, as well as providing key insight to business direction.
Since 2002, Taylor had been the director of sales and marketing for 5.1 Production Services. During that time, she wrote and implemented sales and marketing plans for the company, developed key accounts, significantly grew business revenues and developed the company’s project management team.
Regarding her promotion, Michaels said, “We are delighted to be promoting Sandi from within. During the past three years, she has been an invaluable member of our company. She is a proven account executive with extensive experience in software manufacturing and distribution companies. Her areas of expertise include marketing plans, product launches, sales management, and customer relations. Now, she is moving forward, further into production of original content. She has more than earned this promotion.”
From 1997 to 2002, Taylor was manager, DVD ROM and audio sales, and new business development for Panasonic Disc Services Corporation, Torrance, CA. Previous posts held by Ms. Taylor include global account manager, IBM, while working for the Quebecor Pinting USA Corporation, in Los Angeles, and OEM sales manager, software services group, and western regional sales manager, information products group, for KAO Infosystems Corporation, also in Los Angeles.
5.1 Entertainment Group
