Los Angeles, CA (May 23, 2006)–615 Music has named Shauna Krikorian to the newly created post of music director, Los Angeles. Randy Wachtler, president/CEO of the Nashville, TN-based 615 Music, made the announcement.
In her new post, Krikorian, based in Los Angeles, will represent 615 Music and its services, comprised of both the development and production of original music composition, as well as licensing tracks from its extensive production music library, to new clients based along the West Coast, including Hollywood and the entertainment industry. She will also seek new business from production and post production companies in need of effective, dynamic, and award winning music for their film, television, commercial, promo, videogame, internet, or multi-media projects.
Previously, Krikorian was creator and founder of the music management company SLK Entertainment, based in Los Angeles. Moving forward, she will concurrently work for both 615 Music and SLK Entertainment. In her role with SLK, she serves as manager for such music artists as Chris Parish, Saturday’s Child, Lee Newman, Carter William Humphrey and Lauren Wild.
From 2004 to 2005, Krikorian also worked as the business coordinator on Rod Stewart’s Grammy winning record Stardust… the Great American Songbook, Vol. III and business coordinator on Carly Simon’s latest album, Moonlight Serenade. During 2005, she worked for Paul Anka Productions as executive director, handling the recording star’s day-to-day management. In 2004, she was the manager, music for Tyrell Music Group, Hollywood, where she worked as the day-to-day manager for Steve Tyrell. From 1999-2001, Shauna was a producer with L.E.G. Productions of Agoura Hills, CA.
Krikorian is a graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens, GA, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and Journalism degree.
