Nashville, TN (February 23, 2007)--615 Music has created a new News Music Package for Dallas-based Belo Corp. television stations, in addition to its existing news theme packages and production library music packages. 615 Music President and CEO Randy Wachtler made the announcement.

615 Music created a fresh, contemporary, high-energy package called "Propulsion" for Belo. Wachtler said, "WFAA creative director Jim Glass gave us direction for the 'Propulsion' package. He wanted the sound to be different--more contemporary. We created a driving rhythm and guitar-based sound that really makes these tunes stand out."

"Belo is delighted to be able to develop a comprehensive group-wide agreement with Randy Wachtler and 615 Music," said David Lougee, Belo's executive vice president/media operations. "615 has a proven track record for creating a wide variety of successful contemporary themes for news and other local programming."

Wachtler also said that, as part of the agreement, 615 Music would supply other news packages, as well as the 615 Music library, to some of the individual stations which are part of Belo.
