Westlake Village, CA (June 29, 2005)--Responding to the growth of the small, typically DAW-based studios, ADAM Professional Audio has introduced new studio monitor models and a package of sub and nearfield components. The compact S1A from ADAM is the smallest of their S series of monitors. Coupled with their Sub 10 subwoofer, a pair of S1As and the sub comprise the new System1-10.

The active combination boasts a 25 Hz to 35 kHz frequency response with integral, adjustable bass management. The S1A employs ADAM's ART ribbon tweeter technology with a 5" woofer in a biamped cabinet. The Sub10 features a 10" driver, flexible bass management controls and a 200W power amp. The System 1-10 lists for $3,850.

For even more intimate monitoring, ADAM has released the Artist desktop active monitor. Also employing an ART tweeter and 5" woofer, the Artist further compliments desktop use with a compact footprint and front panel power and volume controls. The Artist is already shipping at a retail price of $1600/pair.
