Toronto, Ontario (May 4, 2004)–Adamson Systems Engineering has announced the appointment of Keith Vanderkley as the company’s director of sales. Based from Adamson’s head office, Vanderkley will be responsible for developing and maintaining Adamson’s sales channels worldwide.
Vanderkley brings more than 30 years of experience in the audio industry to his new position, including a 21-year career at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, where he worked as a remote broadcast and FOH/recording engineer, technical instructor and, finally, technical coordinator of the Toronto Broadcast Center.
Following a management position with a major Canadian pro audio distributor, he formed Vanderkley & Associates, a platform upon which he was able to combine his experience in product sales and technical support to provide high-level representation in Canada for a number of professional audio companies. Most recently, Vanderkley was the director of North American sales for Apogee Sound International.
“Of the manufacturers that are major players within our industry, only a few stand out,” said Keith Vanderkley. “These are the companies that take their experience in live and installed sound, combine it with proven designs and physics, and produce a product that one can truly believe in. Engineering driven, Adamson certainly provides me the opportunity to present that to our customers.”
“Keith’s technical background as an audio engineer in addition to his extensive sales experience means he brings a lot to the table,” commented Jesse Adamson, the company’s managing director. “He has a real service-oriented approach to doing business and will be able to provide Adamson customers with knowledgeable product support and solutions.”
Vanderkley can be contacted at (905) 683-2230, FAX (905) 683-5414, or by email at [email protected]
