Toronto (January 26, 2010)--Adamson Systems Engineering supplied Waves Audio with its new Point Series boxes for presentations at NAMM 2010.
Waves required a sound reinforcement solution for its NAMM exhibit booth, where it had some of the world’s top mixing engineers including Chris Lord-Alge, Eddie Kramer, Jack Joseph Puig, and Tony Maserati, talking about their work with various Waves tools.
To aid in this effort, Adamson supplied a plug-and-play package incorporating two of its passive Point 8 boxes, the series’ smallest, which were mounted on the booth structure using Omnimount fixtures. The package was completed with NL4 cabling, a single Lab.gruppen fP10000Q amplifier, and an XTA DP424 processor, all mounted on an Adamson custom flight case.
Adamson applications specialist Ewan McDonald prepared and shipped the system, which arrived in the hands of Waves educational specialist Scott Pederson, who was in charge of the installation.
Adamson’s Israeli rental partner Kolot Ramim’s Gadi Reik and Yossi Bar established the initial connection with Waves by way of Waves director of Business Development Asher Bitansky, who was put in touch with Jochen Sommer, Adamson Europe GmbH director of Operations.
“Thanks to the Adamson team, the system had a wonderful natural sound, easily heard above the tradeshow floor’s noise level, without any additional effort on the presenter’s part,” commented Bitansky after the show.
