Naples, Italy (November 3, 2005)–Performer Gigi D’Alessio closed out the Italian leg of his 2005 World Tour with a blow-out show in his hometown of Naples. He’d last played the Square of Plebiscite five years ago–an event where more than 200.000 turned out to enjoy his music. This time, a larger crowd was on hand for the show, which 16 television cameras captured for an upcoming DVD that will be released later this year.
Live system from Vasto, Italy was the technical producer for the entire Italian tour. Adamson speakers were utilized in Naples as well as for all of the Italian stops on D’Alessio’s 2005 World Tour. For this show, arrays of four Y18s, 12 Y10s and five Y10 Subs were flown left and right of stage 50 meters apart so as to not cover up the stage backdrop. A centerfill of four Y10s and four Y10 subs were added to make up for the wide set-up of the main array.
