AES NY Sets Architecture Acoustics Presentation For April 11

New York, NY (April 5, 2006)--The Audio Engineering Society New York Section will hold an open meeting on Tuesday, April 11th at The New School University, 55 West 13th Street (between. 5th & 6th Avenues), in the 5th floor Jazz Performance Space. An informal "Meet and Greet" is scheduled for 6:30 PM, the formal meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.

With a special focus on acoustics, monitoring, treatments and how they apply to current recording spaces, the meeting will be highlighted by a presentation by noted architect/acoustician John Storyk of the Walters-Storyk Design Group. His presentation is entitled “Architecture + Acoustics: Critical Listening Environments For Small Project Studios.”
