Rome, Italy (December 21, 2005)–The A&G system, incorporating the “See’n’Sound” and “X-spat boX,” will be part of the study courses program at the Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma.
The Fondazione Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia is reportedly the oldest film school in Western Europe, founded in Rome in 1935. It has been financed by the Italian Government and focuses on research, publication and theory.
See’n’Sound is a 3D animation path to MIDI messages converter for use with programs such as Digidesign Pro Tools and Alias Maya. Translation, rotation, and scale XYZ coordinates are extracted from the animation paths of a maximum _of eight three-dimensional models of your scene, and are converted into MIDI messages in real time.
