Alfred Reinprecht Vienna, Austria (July 27, 2007)–AKG has named Alfred Reinprecht as AKG vice president for marketing & product management. In this position, he is responsible for the global marketing strategy of the brand. “With the addition of Alfred Reinprecht to our management team, we have completed a reorganization, building a strong, multifaceted alliance ready to take AKG to the next level,” said Stefan Gubi, president, AKG Acoustics GmbH.
Gubi added, “I am very pleased that we now have Alfred on board, as his talents and dedicated managerial style will support additional company growth. We have committed ourselves to an even stronger brand position in the coming years, and Alfred will be of excellent support in this pursuit.”
Reinprecht has held the positions of product manager and product marketing at Sony Austria and Telekom Austria, respectively. In August 2000, Reinprecht began at Schrack BusinessCom (that later became Kapsch BusinessCom, Austrian ITSystems Integrator). Within this company, Reinprecht held positions such as division lead marketing & product management for Austria and Eastern Europe, as well as head of strategic alliances and purchasing.
