Northridge, CA (January 2, 2007)–Dino Virella has been named AKG Acoustics national sales manager in the U.S. Based in AKG’s Northridge, California office, Virella will be responsible for advising U.S. sales representatives and customers on AKG’s microphone and headphone solutions.

Prior to his appointment at AKG U.S., Virella was owner and principal of VirellaPro Sales and Marketing, an independent sales, marketing and consulting company. Prior to that, Virella held influential sales and marketing positions at Focusrite and Universal Audio, and was a sales manager in the Midwest and Latin American territories for Digidesign.

Virella is one of several new additions to the U.S. arm of AKG Acoustics. Further supporting its stateside customers, AKG has added four members to its sales team since moving into the Northridge office.
