Weehawken, NJ (June 7, 2006)–Carlos Alomar, well known as David Bowie’s guitarist and co-founder/director of the National Rock Movement in Puerto Rico, has partnered with producer/engineer Rob Harari to form a production team dedicated to artist development and production.
The combination of Harari’s solid 20+ year career and Alomar’s experience in both musical development and performance have earned the team several production endeavors since the start of 2006. Among these are the NYC rock trio, Angiescreams, who tracked a three song demo with the Alomar/Harari team. Its release is expected this summer.
Another Alomar/Harari project is for Castle Point Records, the new label founded by the students of Stevens Institute of Technology. CPR recently completed their first album with the help of Alomar/Harari. The team produced two groups that appear on the compilation: Last Perfect Thing and John Connor. The album became available for national distribution through Sumthing Records (Nile Rodgers) on May 30.
