Ant Music Creates Music For New Pantene Campaign

New York, NY (January 19, 2005)--Ant Music, one of New York's premier music houses, has just completed the music for a new spot for beauty products manufacturer Pantene that aired prominently throughout last weeks People's Choice Awards.

Titled The Color Journey, Pantene kicked off the New Year with this new spot, and their agency of record, Grey Worldwide, asked Ant Music founder and creative director Anthony Vanger to create the stunning new soundtrack for the spot.

Atmospheric, in a sexy, slo-mo style, the piece is reminiscent of early 80's new-age with electronic elements, some grungy harder parts and all juxtaposed with soft, breathy female vocals by Korinna Knoll and Anthony Vanger. It's a stunning piece of original music, and is certainly destined to be another hit for Ant Music.

Anthony Vanger commented about how he approached the spot with his composer Adam Peters. "As always, it is about finding a piece of music that hits the emotion of the spot. You never know what is going to work until you put it up against the picture and when it does finally click, it is as if the spot was written with that piece of music in mind."

Additionally, Ant Music acted as music supervisors on the new Andie MacDowell/Tim Roth movie, The Last Sign, while creative director Anthony Vanger also produced Operatica, a recording project that fuses cool, electronic grooves with the vocals of soprano opera diva Maureen O'Flynn.

Ant Music are currently working on the music for a new European TV blockbuster, D'Artagnan and The Three Musketeers, in Paris and Prague and spots for Barnes and Noble and the Got Milk? campaign.
