Beringen, Belgium (October 12, 2010)–Apex Audio has launched its new Intelli-series of audio system management devices.

Featuring internal processing up to 192 kHz as standard, analog circuit designs and “mastering-grade” compressors, the Intelli-X2 26 and 48 are the latest generation of digital audio products from the company.
The Intelli-X2 26 (2-in, 6-out) and Intelli-X2 48 (4-in, 8-out), provide system management tools for system alignment and EQ, through to the provision of IIR -and FIR-based crossovers. The Intelli-X2 I/O can be selected (in pairs) to be either analog or AES3/EBU, enabling a mix of audio formats to be used simultaneously. The new Intelli-series is targeted for both live and studio applications.
The Intelli-X2 series manages synchronization by providing a three-tiered redundancy approach, ensuring that if any sync source is lost, the Intelli-X2 will automatically revert to another (as defined by the user).
An integral date- and time-based logging system is incorporated within all Intelli-devices. The log provides details of any key configuration/control changes made, and this log is available for viewing on the front-panel display, or can be downloaded directly onto a computer.
