Jessup, MD (March 6, 2007)--API Audio will strengthen its presence in Japan by naming Mix Wave as their Japanese distributor. Collectively, the Mix Wave staff have been working in the Japanese music and video industries for decades and have developed personal relationships with most of the major and minor recording and mastering studios in the country.

“We named our company 'Mix Wave' because we represent a comprehensive mix of products that are making waves in the industry,” explained Hide Suzuki, director, pro audio sales manager, and recording engineer. "API manufactures some of the very best analog equipment in the world. They've been making waves for decades, and with the industry's renewed interest in imparting an analog sound on digital recordings, interest in API keeps increasing. For those customers who were clambering for API, we're happy to add them to our line card. For those customers who haven't heard of API's products, we're happy to let them hear what they've been missing!"

API's managing director, Gordon Smart, commented, "We're extremely pleased to have Mix Wave as our distributor in the important Japanese professional audio market, and we look forward to working closely with them."
