    Santa Monica, CA (January 29, 2009)--Apogee Electronics has announced that its Duet portable audio interface is compatible with GarageBand 5.0, included in Apple's just-released iLife '09 package.

    GarageBand 5.0 includes a host of new features including Basic and Artist Lessons--the latter featuring Sting, Colbie Caillat and Fall Out Boy, among others— and new amp and stompbox effects for guitar.
