Santa Monica, CA (September 6, 2005)–Atlantis Group Recording Studio in Santa Monica, CA just passed a milestone, celebrating five years in business. “Considering we’ve survived a voice-over strike, 9/11, a recession, a war, and a very tumultuous time in our industry, I’ve got to credit our staff and our loyal clients for getting us this far,” said company president John Chominsky.
Atlantis Group has not just survived, but prospered. The recent addition of another studio equipped with a Digidesign ICON system has complimented their commitment to stay on top of the latest technology. Whether it’s the state of the art equipment, the staff’s friendly personality, or their desirable location with proximity to the 3rd St. Promenade, Atlantis Group continues to wow local, out of state and even an international clientele.
“We’re flattered that many of our clients prefer to fly out to be present for a session in lieu of just patching in,” added staff recording engineer Jaimie Siedow. “Lately we’ve been doing a bunch of sessions for clients from Arizona, Chicago, Canada and even Australia”.
Originally conceived as an audio post-production facility catering to the advertising community (radio and TV spot work), Atlantis Group has evolved to a multifaceted audio facility that caters to video games, indie films, and now even supports a music division. Eargasm Studios was created as a sister company that focuses on music mixing and recording. Sean Graham, staff engineer stated, “It was a natural evolution for us. Nowadays you need to diversify your services.”
Chominsky concluded, “We’re in it for the long-haul.”
