Santa Monica, CA (January 21, 2005)–The crew at Atlantis Group recording studio provided sound for a new ad campaign for San Manuel Indian Bingo & Casino’s grand opening of a new casino location on January 28, 2005. Barbara Almandarz of Arizona’s Off Madison Avenue advertising agency produced the commercials, which are currently airing on network television.
The three 30-second spots were mixed at Atlantis Group on their new Digidesign ICON console in their new mixing suite. Atlantis Group’s in-house composer Ron Alan Cohen provided original music. Engineers Sean Graham and Jaimie Siedow handled sound design and sweetening.
Atlantis Group offers unique services of integrating sound for projects to its clients no matter where they might be located. In this case, the client delivered Quicktime videos to Atlantis Group via the internet where voice-overs, music, sound design and final mixes were constructed. Even though the Arizona based client could not be physically present at the sessions, emails, FTP transmission, telephone patches, and ISDN audio transmissions enabled the audio house and advertising agency to be on the same page.
“We are very fortunate to have a client that trusts our creative contribution to a project without them having to look over our shoulder as we work,” explained Atlantis Group president John Chominsky. “It allows our staff more opportunity to be creative and to experiment with ideas.”
At the recording facility, one suite housed composer Cohen to focus on the music while, just down the hall, Graham and Siedow were busy editing in Studios A and B. “As a composer, it’s great to be in the loop as changes are happening,” said Cohen.
The official opening celebration for Atlantis Group’s new studio is scheduled for late February.
