Brandon, FL (September 21, 2005)–Atlas Pro Audio will be announcing two new products from Buzz Audio at their NYC AES Convention Booth (#1150)–the Resonance Equalizer Model REQ-2.2 and the Dual Compressor System Model DCS-2.2.
Buzz Audio’s Resonance Equalizer Model REQ-2.2 The Resonance Equalizer Model REQ-2.2 is a high end all class A stereo equalizer intended for tracking, mixing and mastering applications. The Resonance Equalizer gets its name from the use of real switched inductors and capacitors as the reactive elements in the EQ stages–no electronic simulation – which results in natural resonance and a simply delectable sound.
The Dual Compressor System Model DCS-2.2 is a high end all class A audio compressor which features two different compressor types in the one unit. The DCS-2.2 includes one channel of hard knee FET based compression and one channel of softer OPTO compression. Routing switches allow the user to use the two compressors types individually, in series or in parallel modes.
