Boise, ID (August 26, 2005)–Recently, more than 30 classrooms at the University of Idaho in Boise received an audio upgrade during a renovation. To get the most mileage out of the available budget, the school created its own system design for the classrooms and then hired AAtronics of Boise to perform the install under the supervision of a consultant. After all thirty rooms were completed, AAtronics had installed 162 Atlas Sound Strategy series FAP82T speakers.
The size of each classroom varied as did the quantity of speakers installed in each ceiling. Every room also was equipped with customized modular podiums each containing a power supply, control systems, an amplifier to power the FAP speakers, touch panels, a camera, a DVD player, and VCR.
“The University chose Atlas Sound Strategy series FAP82Ts because they’re such great speakers,” says Alesandro Salgado from AAtronics. “The University was very impressed with these speakers. A variety of other people from teachers to administrators were brought in to demo the speakers as well and everyone was very satisfied.”
